Hotel Carla

We stayed one night at the Hotel Carla while driving through the Cinque Terre region, and honestly, I wish we would have stayed longer. The Hotel Carla was clean and modern, and also in a great location. Set back up on the hill a little ways, we were only a 10 minute (max) walk straight down the street to the waterfront area. The front desk was great with check-in; she provided us with lots of information on the area and activities to do and places to go. They also took care of moving our car to the parking area up the hill. The room was very clean and we had plenty of space. We had a small balcony with table and chairs that we enjoyed a bottle of wine and some take out from The White Goose. The breakfast the next morning had a wide variety and was plentiful. Would highly recommend the Hotel Carla for anyone visiting Levanto!

Good location to train station , shopping and restaurants

Hotel is easy to get to station for travel to Cinque Terre. Rooms are a little small, but do the job. Easy to park nearby. Breakfast is good. Owners are very friendly and give you all the info you need

We chose this hotel based on the fabulous reviews and it didn't disappoint. The décor is absolutely stunning and all new. Hotel is extremely tastefully decorated. The breakfast was fabulous and the front desk staff were informative and friendly. Air conditioning was excellent. This is possibly the best boutique hotel I have stayed at and walking around the area I didn't see anywhere that looked as good. Nice quiet location too. Would highly recommend. We stayed there to visit the busy Cinque Terre area which is clearly a victim of its own success, i.e. ridiculously crowded, and we couldn't wait to return to our tranquil hotel at the end of the day. It is also located by a fabulous beach, just a short walk, which was really enjoyable and once again not busy.

The owner and staff at Hotel Carla were exceptional. Laura at reception was extremely helpful and outstanding. The breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave early our second day and would miss breakfast, however, the hotel prepared us a packed brown bag lunch for the early train. The hotel is 10 minutes from train station. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Carla was great! Very clean, walking distance to train and to restaurants and beach - perfect spot. Quick train ride to Cinque Terre. Great breakfast and very nice employees. Hotel has bikes to borrow. Use them and ride the bike trail along the old railroad line - absolutely fantastic views! Nice place for a drink at the end of the trail. Room has everything you need, just small and tight but very clean but we did not spend much time in room anyway.

Comfortable places to hang out for happy hour. Great staff.

Hotel Carla is an excellent option if you're staying in Levanto. Conveniently located a few minutes walk from the train station, just a couple blocks inland from the main beach community. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive to all your needs. The rooms are nice and modern, especially if yours has a patio (which most do). My only complaint is the walls don't have great insulation (we could hear our neighbors talking a lot through the walls). What really elevates this hotel is the gourmet breakfast (FREE for guests). This is by far one of the best hotel breakfast's I've had, period. Better than anything I've experienced anywhere in Europe. Great coffee, pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs, juice...even champagne!
