Du Forum

Hotel is like an historic landmark inside and outside. It’s located on a very busy main square in the old city section of Arles, within 10 minutes walk of most major sites. Driving a car to park at the hotel is tricky as it requires navigating very narrow roads with many pedestrians. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The building and rooms are charming! Stayed 4 nights and had a spacious top floor room with wonderful view. Good breakfast at reasonable price. Lots of restaurants on the Place du Forum where hotel is located - really good location that's not far from the river, colosseum, garden d'ete, St.Trophime, etc. Finally, the staff was really helpful and Florence, the manager, is friendly and professional. We will return to Du Forum and certainly recommend it!

I love this hotel!! Location on the Place du Forum is the best, with restaurants waiting as you walk out the door! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Public areas comfortable and decorated with unique items. Enjoyed the history of the hotel and the lovely pool area. Room very nice, clean, with a nice view!! Very comfortable here, first class service!

We stayed four nights in September 2019. The pool area was out of this world! We ate breakfast there every morning, and had a glass of wine every night.(except the bar is closed on Sundays) Awesome location for restaurants. Parking was a bit of a hike - in public parkade. Rooms are large and basic. Blow dryer :) Liquid soap. No shower curtain which seems to be the norm in 4/5 hotels we stayed in throughout France. Staff were awesome - front desk, morning server and barkeep by the pool. We would return!

It is an older building but is quaint and charming. The square in which it is located is an amazing venue and exactly what one would want from Roman France. All the sights are easily walkable in Arles and the tourist seen to stop in mid afternoon, mostly French are in town in the evening. Still most French people we encountered speak English and they were very friendly and helpful. One catch....don’t drive into town. There are gates at night for a reason, the streets are very narrow and you will be driving through people dining and such. So park outside and walk in. There was lots of parking.

It is located in the heart of the historic district of Arles which is a real plus ONCE YOU REACH THE HOTEL. Getting thru the barricades is difficult because the hotel has to lower them to allow entry, something I didn’t know and only found out by walking to the hotel. Other than that we had a lovely experience there and look forward to repeating it.

A very nice hotel full of history at the bustling Place du Forum. The hotel itself is already a visitor's attraction. Staff is helpful and friendly. However, it's difficult to find their parking. We gave up and parked nearby outside. It's really tiring to walk to the hotel with all our luggages on such hot days. The room is spacious and nicely decorated, but we found the blanket sheet a bit wet. For breakfast, better to take the €7set (juice+crossiant+coffee) than the €10 buffet breakfast. There are very few choices and no refill. We woke up late and therefore everything seems to be leftovers.
