Hôtel Armenonville

Had a very good week at this Oasis in the middle of Nice. Peaceful place with pool and nice garden. Short walk to the beach. Friendly staff. My wife and me had a junior suite. Will like to go back.

Hotellet är beläget i en vacker, äldre fastighet. Tyvärr lyhört och inte så serviceminded personal men inte usel. Fin pool och bra parkering! Hade varit trevligt om man hade kunnat ta en kopp kaffe i trädgården.

Struttura vicino al centro e ben gestita. Complimenti!!!!!

Kivannäköinen hotelli ulkoa ja sisältä. Huone kaipaisi jo kyllä kovasti remonttia. Likaisenoloinen, hana vuoti, roskista ei ollut tyhjennytty tullessa. Aamiainen onneton 12,- hintaan. Rauhallinen sijainti.

Ett ganska slitet hotell men ligger på promenadavstånd från det mesta. Jag var lite miasnöjs med städ och fick säga till. Parkeringen var bra.

Warm atmosphere, small and peaceful hotel located almost in the heart of the city. Good parkingplaces.

Nice pool and garden tho" crowded in by apartment buildings. Helpful staff but common areas and staircase in need of cleaning and care.

Our son was on a residential French course so we were just looking for a conveniently located hotel with free wifi but this hotel was much more than that. The staff were really friendly (as were most people we met in Nice), rooms clean and pool very convenient for cooling off in the evening. Hotel access is controlled by a gate. We chose to eat breakfast at local patisseries rather than at the hotel as we were going out every day anyway (and there are several within five minute walking distance) but we passed the food several times and it looked good. Overall we both loved the hotel and would choose to stay there if we ever return to Nice.

It has been many years since we have been to the hotel, but the gardens and innkeeper are charming. The room was small but we were only there for two nights, on our way back to the states. Free parking is fantastic, which is very difficult to find in Nice and location was great.

The outside of this old hotel - possibly an attractive private home in its former life - looks rather charming at first glance, as do the small stained glass windows adorning each level of the interior marble staircase. As in many old hotels in Europe, there are no elevators. However, once we finally struggled up the two flights of stairs with our heavy luggage and opened our room door with an ancient key, we were totally shocked by the dreary, drab vision before us. Old cheap furniture, unmatched decor, broken handles, saggy chair, moldy bathroom shower curtain and general uncleanliness was awful and depressing. The room’s only positive attribute was sheets that appeared to be clean. We spent as little time as possible there and could not wait to check out!
