Hôtel La Résidence Lyon

nice location, hotel is not so good.

A nice little hotel in an ideal location. Many shops and cafes on this street and only about 2 blocks from Place Bellecour. Gare Perrache is at the other end of the street. Everyone at the reception desk spoke English but they were patient with my efforts to speak French! Lyon is a wonderful city to visit and I will visit it again. Try to speak some French. They are proud of their beautiful language and appreciate the effort, even if they have to eventually switch to English.

Convenient and good value for money

The hotel's location just can't be better, close to everything. Next time I travel to Lyon, will definitely choose this hotel to stay.

Great location and good sized room. Walking distance to most sightseeing attractions (cathedral, river, etc) and many restaurants. Good lobby area with wifi and helpful staff. Also walking distance to smaller train station Perrache which is infinitely preferable to larger Part-Dieu station.

Was happily surprised by my stay. I thought I had booked a budget night, but exceeded my expectations. Great sized room, good location, only minor thing was at times could hear noise from outside or other rooms, but not super problematic.

The location was excellent!

Receptionist often seemed overwhelmed. Not his fault, just a lot for one person to do. Otherwise very helpful. Nice room, great bathrooms and television. Perfectly located. Thanks

Friendly and helpful staff

Miss information about taxi. To the train station much less than quoted at hotel. I told the taxi driver he said thank you that is why they don’t get many calls.
