Great hotel. Staff very friendly. Cleanliness exceptional. A very large variety of food available each night. Third time here. Very close to all amenities and sites of the area. Highly recommended

I enjoyed my stay at the Pez Espada and found it to be spotlessly clean as always and the staff friendly and helpful. I thought the quality of the food had improved and always found a tasty dish for dinner. I had an 01 room and these are darker as they don’t have a window and being near the lifts can be more noisy if you are a light sleeper. My only criticism is that the corridors can be a little noisy with some guests returning late at night and chatting loudly. All in all, a good stay. The hotel is in a brilliant spot with access straight on to the promenade and lots of places to eat nearby.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly consider returning in the future. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, situated directly on the beachfront and within easy walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The food was particularly impressive. There was a wide variety of choice, and the quality of the meats was excellent. Apart from the sausages, which were not to my personal taste, I found the food to be of a very high standard and could not fault it. The pool and surrounding area were well maintained and provided a pleasant place to relax. However, one issue that management may wish to address is the practice of guests reserving sunbeds with towels for extended periods without using them. While we were generally able to find sunbeds eventually, this could become a greater issue during busier periods. We raised the matter with the pool attendant, but unfortunately no action appeared to be taken. Another point worth mentioning is the smoking around the pool area. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it was advertised as a non-smoking property, so we were disappointed to find smoking taking place in areas where guests were relaxing. The only other improvement I would suggest is the provision of a shower and changing facility for departing guests. For those with late flights, it would be beneficial to have somewhere to freshen up after checking out. That said, the 12:00 noon check-out time was appreciated. Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

We have been coming to this hotel for quite a few years and it never disappoints. We had a lovely stay again, the staff throughout the hotel were brilliant, all worked hard and were always pleasant. We enjoyed the food both for breakfast and dinner, always plenty of choice and always replenished quickly. Thank you to the reception for our special request which made our stay special for us. We hope to return again soon.
