Hotel Ritual Sireno Torremolinos - Adults Only

The hotel requires a major refurbishment. Notwithstanding that, there are some substantive points that really make it overpriced, ie one doesn’t get value for money. Substantively: - bathroom: very bare and I’ll designed. The fan not working, making it stuffy if the door is not open. Not a single shelf to put stuff on. Shower holder set far too high to make it at all functional. The door cannot be shut as the part of the handle was missing. - bedroom: no side lamps, just the glaring top lighting. Aircon set poorly - blowing directly onto the bed. Space for cloths very basic. No drawers. No safe. Blackout curtains could be better. - balcony - external aircon unit blows hot air directly onto a table and two chairs. Refurbishment notes: There is a lot of patch-up plastering and wood work visible. Quiet amateurish. The entrance door shows signs of having been broken into, with very amateurish attempt to repair the damage. Positives ; cleaning staff excellent - very friendly and efficient/ effective. Overall, we’d be ok if we had to pay up to EUR 50. That would have been a fair price for what we got. That’s c half the price of what we paid.

Another great stay. Superb central location. Extremely hot weather so rooftop plunge pool a real bonus. Staff as always friendly and helpful.

Really helpful and friendly staff. The ability to use their sister hotel is also very welcome.

Probably the worst hotel experience of my life. Location is fine, a short walk from the train station. For the most part it was quiet until the final night when the person in the room beside me who had a dog seemingly had a hookup with someone else who had a dog. The dogs didn't get on so there was barking for an impressively long time, and one was quarantined to the balcony. Back to my experience, my room on the third floor stank for the entire week of my visit. Like a mixture of mould, damp and fish. One day I came back and the smell had vanished, the room smelled clean. Sadly I discovered that whoever had cleaned my room had sprayed some cleaning solution over a brand new t-shirt I had bought for this trip. The material has dyed spray marks all over the back and is not wearable. Almost as if it has been sprayed with bleach but when speaking with the hotel I was aggressively told they do not use bleach. Every day the cleaning standards were extremely varied, but would always have that fish odor mentioned above. One night I came back to my room about 1/2am and the fuse box in my room was emitting an extremely loud continuous beep. Fortunately when I went to reception there was a maintenance man who was able to disconnect the alarm within minutes, and two guys came back the next day to fix it properly. I could go on about the issues but can't be arsed. I'll be coming back to Torremelinos but won't be staying here.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Torremolinos, very proximate to the train station by foot and also many restaurants, a supermarket, bars, and many other recreational facilities. The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Check in was very fast and the receptionist on duty was very helpful. The room was very comfortable - being very generous in size. There was a/c there and a large shower room also. The hotel is very stylish, offered very good value for money, and while I did not have lunch in the hotel, the lunch menu was excellent value for money. There is a swimming pool and some sun loungers on the rooftop. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it if visiting the Costa del Sol area.

Love this Hotel in the best place ever for bars restaurants and the shops we like the walk down to the lovely soft sandy beach using the famous steps that are gradual with bars shops and market stalls on them and it gives you a bit of exercise (too much food and drink) or you can use the lift which is 0.50c each. the rooftop pool, bar and solarium are great and nicely done. The staff friendly and nothing to much trouble, spotlessly clean what more can you ask for at the prices they charge we are booking this hotel again for the San Migel festival at the end of September

Lovely modern hotel, recently refurbished but unaware what it looked like previously. Pleasant staff, easy check-in and good all round service. Bathroom was the best part of the room, bed a little uncomfortable to what I'm used to. Didn’t try the food but always smelt nice. Bar was good value. Very inclusive hotel so if you’re not inclusively minded then you may want to look elsewhere. Good location though a little noisy outside.
