Hotel Real Segovia

El alojamiento es precioso, muy confortable y el personal excelente atención,sin duda super recomendado y volveré pronto

The room and the entire building was very quiet. No traffic noise so you could open a window at night, if you wanted. It was very hot when we were there but the a/c worked great. There was one in each room. The kitchen had the basics for cooking simple meals. The best was the rooftop. It has a perfect view of the cathedral. Catch it at sunset and your in for a treat. Getting the key from the hotel next door was very quick and easy. The restaurant on the ground floor wasn't bad and extremely convenient. There is a small grocery store with a 5 min walk.

The pictures for the listing are very misleading. The apartment does not have a balcony that overlooks the square. You get the shared rooftop access, but no balcony. I was very disappointed as that's what made me choose this place to begin with. I chose the closest parking garage that I could find where my mother, who does not move around with ease, could get to the room without going up a massive set of stairs. I found one within an 8 min walk. It cost me €28 for for less than 12 hrs. The wifi worked pretty well in the living/dining room but did not work great in the bedrooms

The hotel is very clean and in a great location

Efficient but cold and unfriendly welcome from the receptionist. The aircon in the bedroom was very noisy. Lots of nesting pigeons outside our room so very noisy too.

This is an outstanding place to stay in Segovia. Right in the center across from San Martin.. the oldest church I Segovia... This hotel is historic as several start from the golden age stayed here when filming movies.. The front desk staff are available 24 hours and always helpful... the rooms are spacious... and while I am little embarrassed by this, the aircon was American level aircon... which was a blessed surprise after a hot humid walk in La Granja... and a roof top terrace with 360 views of Segovia was the icing on the cake

This is the smallest of things and probably was just user error on my part. It would be nice to be able to open the windows to get some fresh air... but in no way diminished the experience..

Lovely hotel in a great location with lovely staff.

Please fix the noisy air conditioning unit in room 411. Had to turn off as so noisy but room was then very hot.

The location was great and the staff were very kind.

The bed was a bit hard and the split unit (AC) was extremely loud. It sounded like running water while it was on. Very disruptive for a good night’s sleep. And the bathroom wasn’t entirely clean.
