Very comfortable, about 9 minutes from town centre, not for disabled solo walking travellers, bus, food 5. Staff 5, swimming pool or sauna, entertainment. bedroom walls need soundproofing a bit more, room 2 a banging sound made me jump, asked said it was heating and hot water a bit hot.

The Riviera Hotel is situated in a quiet area and very close to the Allum chine beach. The hotel is large and well equipped, with a swimming pool and a sauna. The staff is always very kind and does their best to accommodate all my requests. The rooms could use some modernization, especially the bathroom, which is not very practical. My husband and I stay there a couple of times a year when we visit relatives who live in Poole. Overall, I would recommend it to everyone.

This was our second stay in the Riviera & I couldn't fault it! Stayed for 1 night with my 2 sons, the reception ladies are so lovely and helpful & nothing is too much for them! Great pool (shame the spa pool is still closed), the kids loved the table tennis too! Free parking outside & so close to walk to the beach! We got Deliveroo one evening too which worked well :)

Another good break at the Riviera. The food was fine and the staff very friendly. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool and it was warmer this year. Also the games. The single bed in 218 was very hard and I had to request two toppers! Not good

I liked how the food tasted very good and the pool was very clean the room was very tidy. my 2boys had great fun. Music nights were great 👍

Wonderful family hotel, staff excellent, rooms good. Swimming pool especially appreciated by the children.

Had a warm welcome on reception. The kids loved the pool and other facilities such as table football and crafts. The rooms themselves are functional and clean but a bit tired, that wasn't an issue though. Also a good size. We had dinner there and the service was slow but the waitress gave us a discount for the delay and some crisps whilst we waited. Food when it arrived was very nice. Atmosphere of the hotel is friendly and relaxed would stay again. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the windows are very thin we were on the first floor next to the road and at night were woken by people outside and then woken at 6 by a bin lorry. I think if you were somewhere else in the hotel this wouldn't be an issue but if we stayed again I would ask for a room elsewhere. Overall we enjoyed and and felt it was really good value.
