Riviera Hotel & Holiday Apartments

Great location, quiet and super close to the beach. The hotel decor and amenities itself was slightly dated. Think it could do with a revamp. Rooms were comfortable but small which was completely fine for our short break. Staff are very helpful and kind. Food in the restaurant was okay. Burger had to be sent back as it tasted really cheaper, somewhat similar to mcdonald’s! The staff dealt with the situation very well and made sure we were happy after the mix up. Breakfast was good with a large variety of different options. Also a plus that this hotel excepts dogs, although they aren’t allowed to go into the restaurant which is completely understandable. The bar area was still pleasant to eat dinner in. This hotel works well for our large family gatherings and the location is great. I would stay here again.

Everything was lovely. Rhianna was lovely and really looked after us well. The food from breakfast to the buffets were excellent. The room was clean and suited are needs with the extras for the dog a lovely touch.

Another fantastic Christmas break with friends at The Riveira. The hotel is like a home from home, the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is brilliant. Couldn't ask for anything better

We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel and had a really nice experience. we had booked a standard double but on arrival had been up-graded to a lovely room with balcony overlooking the sea. The weather was on our side and the hotel is located perfectly as you have a short walk down to the beach and into town or you can walk a short distance to catch buses to many of the tourist spots around Bournemouth. The breakfast was excellent with high quality ingredients and we had a couple of evening meals in the restaurant which were very good and reasonably priced as well. We mainly dealt with mike on reception who was very helpful as were all the members of staff we chatted to. There is also a nice pool and Jacuzzi to relax in after the long walks we enjoyed. We will be back and probably with a new dog so looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Just a one night stay as we were visiting Bournemouth for the winter wonderland, but the Riviera was perfect for our needs. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Building is old and creaky , but the Hotel is very clean.Our room though a bit dated , was again very clean and perfect for our stay. 2nd time staying here in the last couple of years , and I have no doubt I will be back. The breakfast was very nice , and the staff again a credit to the Hotel.

I can not specify enough how helpful, friendly, supportive and pleasant the staff are always. The training your staff undertakes must be excellent. They are always 5 star! Highly recommend using your facility as it is by far the best I’ve stayed in. Thank you so much!

A great night at the riviera, I stayed the night as we had a Christmas party which was fantastic in every way. Rather than journey home I stopped over and was very grateful to just fall into a comfortable bed and then pop down to a great breakfast before heading off to work. A great event and lovely stop over.

My friends & I had another brilliant time at the Xmas party we go every year the Xmas dinner is amazing & such good value & all the staff are so attentive & after dinner danced until Midnight with brilliant music from the DJ, we will definitely be booking again for next Xmas.

What a great find, through TripAdvisor. Less than £70 for a sea view balcony room with full cooked breakfast and parking included. A nice welcome by a friendly and informative reception. It's a two minute walk to the cliff top path with spectacular views. A big hotel with loads of parking and a good pool/spa that we enjoyed
