"Very disappointing "

Very shabby, carpets like a patchwork quilt, windows that wouldn't close. No staff in evidence at all except for one man at check-in/out. Reception/bar all locked up. Not so much a 'hotel' - more a room only stop off. Shame as it could be made so much better with a little TLC and re-investment.

"Noises outside"

1st room had been smoked in. 2nd night thee were people using a chainsaw on the railway directly outside the window all night so n sleep!

The reception staff were adequate. The whole hotel could do with a lick of paint and the room was particularly unclean. There were hand prints on the walls, the mattress wasn't on the bed properly and the shower was awful. I wouldn't stay here again.
