Good location, close to town centre. Nice spacious rooms. Very nice breakfast.

Due to renovation work, air conditioning was not available, however, hotel staff provided fans for the rooms which helped.

The hotel is lovely and clean. We enjoyed the food in the bar area and my friend enjoyed her breakfast on the Saturday.

I had a cooked breakfast the first morning and it wasn't worth the money. The sourdough toast had no butter on and none was offered. The coffee was cold and the waiter wasn't very happy when I asked for it to be changed. There is no information on meal times in the room or on the key card holder.

"I would use this hotel again"

The young staff were extremely helpful and attentive. I have some health issues and they were very sympathetic and caring. The food was good and overall it was excellent value for money.

I thought it a bit odd that there was not a telephone in the room, so that the front desk could not be contacted. Some of the bathroom fittings could do with an upgrade.

"Would not recommend or stay again here."

Parking.

Noisy, AC not working. Bathroom was frankly disgusting. Was given a room with two single beds when I really wanted a double. I asked at the front desk if I could change room was told that couldn't be done despite them having tons of spare double rooms on booking.com and the hotel clearly not being fully booked. Would definitely not stay here again!

"Not worth the money"

Nice outside terrace and good parking

Where shall I even begin, from the moment we stepped in the receptionist had a really bad attitude, didn’t seem happy to be there at all . Then the room was dirty and water temperature way to hot

Run down, dirty, boiling hot and air con doesn’t work, the cleaners don’t come to room except to open the door and leave it open when you are not there….

"Very disappointed and poor value for money."

The restaurant has been renovated and the breakfast was good quality and value however the room was dirty and very poorly maintained.

The room was dirty, especially the soft furnishings, carpet and bathroom. We arrived too late with a child to be able to think of requesting a change. Bulbs and hooks missing.
