night porter was asleep, couldn't get into the property was waiting ages at night once in the room was freezing, the light didn't work and room was less than comfortable

Did not inspire eating either breakfast or dinner. Management more interested in being in “charge” rather than taking control

The location of this hotel is great . Close to the town centre and a quaint High Street . The room was clean and lovely and warm with good lighting and had a very comfortable bed. We had a sea view and it was a bonus to be able to open the window onto a lovely view of the sea and parts of Dunoon . The total black-out curtains and blinds were very effective. All the staff are friendly and helpful and generally delightful !

The room and bathroom are very small The room felt cluttered with too much furniture. One cupboard with a couple of drawers would be sufficient. The decor is very bland and desperately needs an updating.
