Restaurant

The lift wasn't working when we arrived, and due to a physical health issue, we asked for a walk in shower ,and the alternative of the inoperative lift we had to struggle up 2 floors with luggage. The room was a shoebox, and I need of complete renovation .The hot water tap was dangerous and needed urgent attention

"Came to Dumfries for my brothers funeral, the Cairndale eased what was a very sad occassion"

Lovely hotel not too " modernised " friendly and helpfull staff

asked for a walk in shower, but shower not totally safe to use. Floor very slippery no mat and no grab rail
