Comfortable Old style hotel with everything needed. Also a bath which was very welcome Nice restaurant albeit a bit expensive.

Good stop off travelling to highlands.

We had a dog room and felt it was a little tired and carpet very stained, maybe other rooms better.

Central location, public rooms all very clean and modern. We were upgraded to a larger room even before we had asked.

Room smelt of stale cigarette smoke. This was passed on at check out but felt it was dismissed. Booked this hotel mainly due to it having the pool. Only after booking are you informed that use of the pool is not included and costs an additional £50 per person for 2 hours!!!!!!! I don’t expect use of treatments/ spa etc but any other hotel I’ve stayed in residents use the pool as free of charge part of their stay.

Booked a small cosy room but got a big queen size room. Best coffee I’ve ever had in a hotel bedroom
