Excellent stay, Glen the owner is a most amazing host He upgraded us to a superior room which was extremely spacious & well equipped. Dinner & breakfast were delicious with generous portions & good choices. Thank you for a relaxing stay We will be back.

We never actually got to stay there! the owner called us 2 days before we were due to stay, saying the hotel was closed , we couldn’t get our money back even after several calls/messages, they put us up in their “other” hotel in Lockerbie which is the Sure , ended up paying. the same to stay in a budget hotel , which was dirty , terrible showers , walls like paper so heard next door sneezing ! Didn’t get any sleep as beds and noise from the road were so bad, one positive was the breakfast which was lovely but considering we had travelled for my mums 80th it really ruined the weekend. My advice is dont book either hotel as you dont know which one they will put you in !

Dirty, noisy as too close to main road, shower awful and bracket broken

"fantastic and would recommend"

we were booked into this hotel but due to a problem there we were moved to a sister hotel with a upgrade . on our drive to the hotel the Owner phoned to see what time we were due to arrive , as it was getting late the owner read us the menu so we would not miss dinner . Fantastic service ! My partner and my self were more than happy with our room and the dinner was great . I would like to thank the Owner and friendly staff for a great stay , we would both book here again .
