"Sad that you either had no air conditioning or lighting"

Comfortable bed & room breakfast was adequate

The bathroom light shone into the bedroom & only worked on movement to turn it off needed turning air conditioning off ! Reception were made aware but did nothing

"What a beautiful gem of a place in a great location."

The staff were courteous and attentive. The decor and heritage of the place was delightful. The food we ate lunch and breakfast was delicious. The rose garden was so pretty and weather allowed for us to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The room was so comfortable and well equipped. The room was very clean.

Nothing really we will visit again the property was quiet and in a beautiful peaceful location. We were attending the Harry Styles concert in Wembley and the property was a 25 minute drive away from Wembley.

"A lovely location with lots of potential."

The main house is a lovely historical property with lots of character.

Garden lodge rooms were uninspiring and tired. Service was not very refined.

"Best Western - please a little updating required to make a reasonable hotel better"

The situation of the house and grounds is always a bonus. The staff are pleasant . I understand the food is good , but have not dined there. The library bar is a very useful place for a drink or coffee with outside seating. My room was clean, old fashioned , but in keeping with the house history and acceptable

Still no sign of decorating the internal spaces, i e replacing stair carpet ( frankly a disgrace) and restoring/ painting woodwork in those areas. I am at a loss to understand why Best Western cannot address this. It leaves an overall dowdy impression. And please renew the signage at the entrance gate. It is not a good look to have a faded, peeling notice board. I hope you can also find some cash to improve the maintenance of the immediate gardens. More care and attention is required. Volunteers? If you are entertaining a large group or party for a special occasion- would you please ensure that the guests do not unduly disturb the rest of the hotel.
