Beautiful room - a Garden Lodge type with modern decor Good selection of toiletries Friendly lady who served breakfast Very good choice of food at breakfast, including delicious vegan cooked variety The Library Bar has bright and pleasant decor and the seating is comfortable Quality and range of food Beautiful rose garden with gorgeous scent Abundant trees and shrubs in the grounds create a relaxing ambience Very reasonably priced for a London hotel

I didn't see sofas or comfortable chairs to sit on near Reception while waiting for my taxi. No mat in the bath to provide stability while showering Areas in the ladies' toilets do not look clean enough e.g. light switches

Location super Recommend a visit to Bentley Priory: a truly wonderful museum in amazing grounds. Loved the history and original architectiral details in the hotel and the grounds. All staff ( at all levels) were very helpful. Awesome selection of gins and whiskies and the Shiraz was brilliant! The G&S evening was superb & great fun ( excellent value for money) and the vegetable soup remains a highlight.

I was unhappy having specifically wanted a room in main house to avoid walking to & from room to restaurant etc.and we were relocated(due to a wedding) a room upstairs and at the furthest end of the annex. (I understand it would have been impossible to use the spiral staircase but do not see why we could not use main staircase as we had to to use the toilet! I despair at having to go outside of hotel in whatever weather to go to an accessible ground floor toilet. Everywhere was superbly clean but carpet in our room had not been hovered before our arrival nor on second morning. I think annex rooms with balcony would be ky choice in future especially in Spring and Summer months

The surroundings, walking in the woods

The hotel looks like it's not seen a redecoration in ten years, the furniture was old not fit to be in a hotel.
