We had our wedding here, it's an amazing venue with beautiful scenery, amazing professional staff who helped us have our perfect day!

Stayed the night before the wedding in one of the more basic rooms - water pressure wasn't amazing.

The driveway to the hotel was beautiful. surrounded by stunning rhododendrons, which made for a lovely first impression. The main hotel itself is very old but has been beautifully preserved, full of charm and character. The Sullivan Suite was gorgeous and offered fabulous views of the lawns and surrounding woodland. There were also beautiful walks around the hotel grounds which we really enjoyed. We had an evening meal on one of the nights and it didn't disappoint. Breakfast was plentiful throughout our stay, on Friday it was served from a menu, while at the weekend it was self service. We were lucky to have beautiful weather during our stay so sitting outside enjoyed the surroundings was a pleasure. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and would happily recommend to others. Overall fabulous.

The only downsides for us was that there were no lifts or air-conditioning.
