Château de Gilly

Really nice place, where they pay attention to details. Spacious room with awesome view and really great breakfast! Also the staff knew how to have the right level of helpfulness. They were always there to answer questions, but also they were not trying to overdue it! I definitely recommend it!

We stayed in a charming and comfortable ground floor room. This was ideal as we had our two small dogs with us and had easy access to the courtyard and large gardens. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks on the large terrace before heading down to the vaulted dining room for a delicious dinner. The service was excellent. (No dogs in the dining room). We will definitely return!

Beautiful chateau with a stunning restaurant for his decor and wonderful food. For wine connoisseurs it would surely have something on the extensive wine list to suit. The young waiter, I think called Olag originally from Ukraine was superb. Personable, friendly and an asset to any business. Additionally we met the hotel manager, who was also gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. The room was spacious, comfortable and although not in the main building, it did not detract from us enjoying the ‘feel’ of this peaceful, friendly and most comfortable stay.

Exceptional atmosphere, old world charm, very nice staff and tasty food. We liked the old character of the Chateau and the grounds. The price is very reasonable.

Hotel is being runned by inexperienced people. They have a good heart but service is chaotic. Ate at the restaurant they brought the wrong orders to the table. Asked for a very well cooked beef fillet and what I got almost was still alive. Our room was infested with stink bugs and had to ask them to move us out to another room. Fortunately they were willing and able. The hotel is closi g i. September for a full overhaul I was told. Unless you don't mind all the issues mentioned I would keep away from this location until it's remodeled.

Beautiful place, great staff, lovely restaurant and food but bed was so very hard.

Accueil et préposée au Bar tres competentes/ Diner excellent, Chambre un peu petite et douche baignoire peu pratique pour des personne âgées. La prestation du petit déjeuner est à revoir , personnel peu professionnel, cuiseur a œufs sans minuteur et panier sans code de couleur obligeant les clients à rester devant le cuiseur. Brioche rassie et tarte aux mirabelles détrempée. le chocolat servi n'avait aucun gout et j'ai dû demander de rajouter de la poudre de cacao. il est entonnant en outre que le site de l'hôtel ne précise pas que les personnes handicapées ne pourront pas avoir accès au restaurant.

Tyvärr en STOR besvikelse. Borde tänkt på det själv ett femstjärnigt hotell för ca 2000 sek kr per natt. Slottet och miljön i mycket tråkigt skick.

Charmerende gammel slot med en autentisk stemning og pæn kringlet suite. Desværre var der hverken internet på værelset/suiten som annonceret. Vi gjorde receptionen opmærksom på dette, men det blev ikke ordnet. Der var heller ikke plads i restauranten om aftenen alle de fire dage vi var der. Det var ellers en af hovedårsagen til valget af dette hotel. Disse to forhold er årsagen til, at vi ikke vælger dette hotel, næste gang vi er i det område.
