Château de Gilly

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. Due to COVID it felt a bit deserted compared to the crowds from last year. Luckily the staff is as warm and welcoming as before. The rooms are comfy, large and we'll equipped, restaurant is top notch. If we get another chance to visit Burgundy, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful old world charm. I rented a room specifically with a fireplace, turned out it was only for show and not functioning. If it would have worked this property would have had all 5 stars

Fantastic experience all around. Everyone was friendly, and the property was amazing. An experience we won't forget.

Rooms were very cute and clean. Great views of the French country side. There weren't many options for meals, only the main breakfast, then Dinner in their restaurant. A lot of the shops and restaurants are closed in the area during the day. Mostly all of the wineries in the area require a reservation. Please be prepared with lots of snacks for meals during the day. The property was beautiful, but a lot of the trees in the picture were not there anymore.

A beautiful chateau hotel conveniently located in the heart of Burgundy which boasts a first class restaurant, an abundant breakfast spread, and highly professional staff.

Imposing former monastery converted into a hotel in mid 80’s. Traditional French decor and comfortable room. Our dog was made especially welcome with a dog bed, feeding/water bowls and some treats provided! We had a delicious tasting menu for dinner set in the atmospheric vaulted cellars. Helpful friendly staff.
