Hotel Le Maréchal

the hotel needs a bit of fixing (broken closet with nails coming out...) and new menus. I was really expecting the culinary part of this visit, but the hotel didn't meet my expectations. The staff on the other hand is really of high level. I especially remember Loan from the reception (positiveness, attention to details, will to help...) and Etahn from the bar.

Perfect location, very helpful staff

An historical hotel ideally located on the river, at the entry to Old Colmar. We booked a very small room with beams and exterior space, beautifully adorned in the French style fabrics & decor. We were very comfortable, despite the limited size of the room. Built in 1565, this delightful hotel provides vintage, storybook charm and architecture. We dined in their fine restaurant which faces the river and provides views of surrounding Old World buildings and the nearby bridge. Service and our meal were exceptional. Opt for the morning breakfast. Grab a table with a river view; you won’t leave hungry.

A really great hotel with a sincerely welcoming staff. Off season is great! Less crowds, just as many restaurants and such. We loved this hotel. Bed comfortable, linens lovely. Bathroom upgraded and adequate closet. Nice extras, great staff. It is conveniently located to walk the historic district, little Venice and fishmonger’s lane, etc. breakfast was a special treat and worth the extra charge. The room was warm but could be modulated by opening the window on what was a very quiet street .

Amazing stay, great location & service , cozy and spectacular rooms with beautiful views, confortable beds and pillows. Le Merechal transports you to another era.
