"Stop over night"

6.0

It was alright - the room was extremely clean and updated recently, modern looking. My husband and I had a twin bed each pushed close together (I was alright with that after a week plus of travelling I thought I’d get a comfortable sleep) the beds meh not so fabulous - it got a bit hot in the room you couldn’t leave the window open and the blinds closed at the same time and you can hear your loud neighbors Checking in we had some communication troubles but I don’t speak French and they tried very hard - we went across the street for dinner on recommendation and she did say it was not far to DT (should have checked it out) Do not waste your money on the breakfast in the morning there are much better places to find great eats and a coffee or juice for a better price.

"WW I Pilgrimage"

8.0

Nice simple and clean hotel with very helpful staff and very quiet at night. I had a nice room looking onto the Place Marechal Foch Square. Hotel is in a perfect location for someone exploring the area by train or bus as the stations are located right opposite. There are good restaurants and cafes on the square and streets behind. Centre of Arras in only a 10 minute walk away.

"Exceptional"

10.0

Loved that it was both right next to the train station and in the middle of town. It was really cold and windy when we arrived, and it poured down rain the next morning. We were on our way back home and had decided to make this interim stop between Paris and Amsterdam - and were so glad we did. The hotel has a really comfortable lounging area which we took advantage of as we awaited our departure. The breakfast was really good. We highly recommend!

"Convenient Art Deco "

Really nice room. Hotel is in a convenient location, with easy and cheap parking outside. Local area is typical for train stations - a bit grubby, but with lots of places to eat. Close to attractions.

"War Graves remembrance tour"

10.0

Stayed for 4 nights on a tour of WW1 battlefields. Lovely staff, food is very good, bar was very good and I’d stay there again. Very friendly atmosphere, overlooking main square of Arras and a great base for touring the region.

"Perfect location and wonderful staff"

10.0

We chose this hotel for the location as we were travelling by train: across the street from the Place de la Gare but still close to the centre of Arras. We stayed for two nights after arriving from the south, then returned for three more nights after a week in Normandy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and never failed to greet us when we were coming or going or having breakfast. Breakfast (included in our price) was a good variety of fruit, pastries (croissants, etc) fresh baguettes, ham and cheese, scrambled eggs (kept very hot) and yogurt. There’s a bar with a very comfortable sitting area overlooking the square (great for people watching), and tea and coffee are available every afternoon and evening in another comfy sitting area. We stayed in two different rooms (Category “comfort”), both overlooking the square and the Gare, with large windows and a door that opened onto a standing balcony. Very nice and airy. The bed in Room 438 was soft and not as comfortable as the one in Room 329. Both rooms were a good size, and had lots of plugs for charging devices. The room for storing luggage was very secure.
