Hôtel Moderne

Good place to stay. We only stayed one night. Staff friendly and helpful. Not sure if it has air conditioning but you would need it in the top floor. Rooms are simple but adequate. Why are there no places to hang towels in Europe?? Other than that...we were happy.

Hotel was old. Room was better than some but not much for services in the hotel. Breakfast was 11€ each for a middle of the line breakfast.

We had a delightful large room overlooking the large Square near the train station. The hotel was spacious and stylish. Service was excellent and always with a smile. This was a 3 star hotel and reflected that status. Our room had an en suite which was large and had everything needed. Sufficient storage facilities in the room. No tea / coffee in room but freely available downstairs - serve yourself. Spotlessly clean throughout with the small central lift seemingly proving sufficient. CAR PARKING - Available immediately outside the hotel in public area - at a cost BUT not after 6pm or on a Sunday - do bear this in mind as all day parking for 6.5 hrs = 4.50 euros but for 7 hrs is 17 euros - so be careful !! And do time your parking arrival.

Front Staff were very friendly and informative. Breaky had lots of choices and was fresh. Breaky area was large and bright. Location was meters away from train station and short walk to square. Its on the return to list! Bravo! Merci!

Good value - afternoon check in staff was good, the lady in the AM was a bag. There is no morning coffee unless you paid for breakfast - I was told to find it elsewhere :(. Close to the train station.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights. The room was nice and modern, we loved the doors we could open to overlook the front and it let it a nice breeze. The bathroom was nice and modern, everything was clean also and the location of the hotel was good only a short walk everywhere. It was super hot when we stayed and there was no air con or a fan in the room, we would have been much more comfortable at night if there had been a fan. The walls were also very thin so we could hear other people in the rooms next to ours. The bathroom was lovely but the shower was quite open, there wasn't a curtain or a door so a lot of water ended up on the floor. I might stay here again, I did like how modern the room was and it was comfortable and we might have felt differently if it wasn't so hot.

The staff were very welcoming here and spoke very good English. Great location only a few minutes walk from the square and cafes. Our room was large and well decorated. However we slept very badly due to the noise. The walls seemed really thin and the place was echoey. We could hear people talking late at night, a very noisy couple spent far to long at it, and I was woken at 6am by a repetitive beeping noise. Nice hotel if you’re s heavy sleeper or bring your earplugs.

It was a great place to stay. Right across the road from the train station and plenty of places to eat nearby.
