Hôtel Moderne

Stop over that allowed for a trip up to Vimy Ridge WW1 memorial, also close to town for food and drink. Hotel rooms OK but a little dated, but still had a decent nights sleep.

Great stay. Staff was hospitable and responsive. Location is convenient with easy walking to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee etc. Nice breakfast, comfortable rooms and air conditioning which doesn't always happen in Paris!

We booked this otel because of its proximity to the train station. It was a good choice, made better by the fact that the facility was clean, the staff friendly, and the room was quiet.

This was our first hotel on our trip. It was a fairly small room for the 2 of us and our luggage. But was clean and the beds were all right. Small shower. Really small elevator. Good location close to the train station.

We stayed one night to take in Vimy Ridge and Beaumont Hamel battlefields and memorials - our two twin-bedded rooms were smallish but very clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms. The staff are very obliging and pleasant - luggage storage was no problem and there is a comfortable bar on the main floor for drinks and small snacks. Easy to walk to the city centre in a few minutes - plus directly across from the train station - great location! Cafes around the area and many more in the historic city centre. Recommended.

Central location next to rail service. Short walks to splendid town square. We found it a great place to stay while exploring the Newfoundland Royal Regiment Caribou Trail and Vimy Ridge.

We had a comfortable stay here and for the price, I guess it's pretty good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My biggest gripe is the interior of the hotel. From the outside, it looks pretty nice but on the rooms with the floors, the interior decor is "college dorm". The signs are stenciled and there are lots of doors and dark hallways. You have to push a button to get the lights to turn on for a while (but no one explained this to me so I thought they were broken.). The room was fine and the location is great, right across from the train station and a short walk from the plazas.

very good the staff very helpful and pleasant. Parking only on adjacent road but no problem and cheap. Breakfast very good and plentiful, no restaurant and limited bar, free tea and coffee, as nothing available in rooms. Will definitely go back.
