HOSTEL MEYERBEER - Rooms and Apartments

Clean tile throughout. AC worked and cooled the place down. Large apartment.

There was a smell coming from somewhere, but I couldn't place it, may have been the plumbing. The bed was firm and small so that two people will have difficulty sleeping together.

Clean, comfortable, well situated very close to the promenade and near to the restaurants, cafes etc.. The communication with Alessandro was very swift and smooth, Stefano at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

As it is situated at the quite frequented street, in the night there was a noice of cars and pedestrisns coming from the bars. As it is an old building and as it was hot, we could smell the unplesant odour from the bathroom, but not too strong and only few times. Otherwise everything perfect!

Nos quedamos en el apartamento de 1 habitación y estaba genial. El apartamento es grande, cómodo y estaba todo muy limpio. El hecho de poder guardar las maletas antes y después del check-in es un plus a destacar. Además el personal que atendía la recepción fue encantador y muy amable. La excelente ubicación al lado del paseo de la playa y cerca del Negresco, nos permitió ir caminando a los puntos turísticos más importantes de Niza. En definitiva, un alojamiento muy recomendable al que volvería sin duda.

Nada que objetar

Great location, staff were very helpful, aircon was great in the heat and the bed was mostly comfortable. Cheaper than other places in town but still quite expensive for what you get.

Didn’t quite realise I was booking through a hostel until we arrived. Appliances need checking over between each guest staying as we had problems with a washing machine that ended up half flooding the apartment, no fault at the owner as previous guests had broken it but it should’ve been checked and tested prior to our arrival and all future arrivals, we were able to use the hostel public washing machine but it still became quite an inconvenience. Couch needs replacing/fixing and cleaning, can’t sit on it because the cushions keep falling off every 30 seconds. The apartment had a smell of sewage after a day and couldn’t figure out where it came from. Not really cleaned thoroughly when we arrived but we had fresh towels daily which was nice.
