Room and ambience all wonderful

Bar was really awful. No 0 alcohol beer, very little choice and all served from what looks like an IKEA unit

Beautiful setting and helpful staff. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the bar food looked very good.

Essen war unter unseren Erwartungen

- Personal war sehr freundlich - Schlosshotel von außen sehr nett - netter Bar-/Sitzbereich - Pool sah gut aus (aufgrund des Wetters nicht genutzt)

- viel zu hoher Preis für das Zimmer - wir hatten einen Garten-Pavillon (etwas muffiger Geruch, kein Komfort, kleines Zimmer, lieblos eingerichtet) - Abendessen ok aber dafür ebenfalls viel zu teuer (nett hergerichtet, aber viel zu wenig gewürzt und schade, dass keine typischen französischen Speisen auf der Karte waren) - sehr langwieriger, ineffizienter Check-In Prozess - Frühstück: keine Eiergerichte auf Bestellung möglich (Rührei kam aus der Tüte) - bei dem Preisniveau ein No-Go

Die Lage des Hotels in einem großen Park und der Pool. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war auch vielseitig und lecker. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei der Abfahrt haben wir noch die Wiesen voller Herbstalpenveilchen entdeckt, das war wirklich zauberhaft. Leider hatten wir nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Wonderful facilities. Staff was very helpful. Everything was very good. Very accommodating to all our wishes. Six women is never easy. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I was in room 11 and you have to be fit when climbing all the stairs. It was very quiet and room would accommodate a family with queen bed and fold out couch.

Stayed with my wife and two kids 8 and 10 years old. The hotel is just wonderful. The pool is great, running around the lawn was fun (wear shoes though, there are thistles), the wildflower meadow was so pretty, and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean, quiet, large, AC was great, and even the pullout couch was comfortable! The food was very good - especially the breakfast and the cocktails were great. Only negative was the surrounding town isn't somewhere you would like to explore, but Amboise and Tours are very close by.
