Easy access to Lucerne. Two restaurants--one expensive, the other extremely expensive. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean.

Lakeside. Polite and friendly staff. Easy access to transit.

Very nice quiet hotel about 20 minutes away from Luzern. Close to the lake, shops and restaurants close. Perfect free parking, internet worked well, good breakfast. What else do you need? Note our room was 2 floors up without elevator, but it was no problem. Also no air conditioning but it was fine because it was a cool day.

Hotel & Restaurant Balm is in Meggan a suburb of Lucerne. The room was lovely & clean but not really a view of the lake. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable with a choice of boiled, scrambled or fried eggs plus a buffet table. Sadly their a la carte restaurant is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays so we were unable to eat there. We walked up the hill to eat at the Meggen Golf Club overlooking beautiful scenery & really good food plus it was affordable. The hotel recommended the local Italian restaurant, but we found the food was overpriced & arrived a little too quickly at the table. It is easy & a beautiful walk into Luzern taking about 1 hour, although you can catch the bus outside the hotel using the free travelcard that the hotel gives to their guests.

Delicious breakfast and beautiful views! Really easy ride on the bus into town especially with the Luzern card that gives you free train and bus rides around the city.

Good place to stay with your family and the hotel is very nice and near to city center bus stop is in front of hotel and very easy

In spite of being outside old town, it is easy to move from old town to the hotel. bus stop is just in front of the hotel
