Nice they did special for the Wildstrubel race altough it is normally a fancy hostel.

The system of reservation for breakfast, with rooms pre-assigned to a specific table. Who does that, really? We were among the first customers at breakfast and were offered the worst table of an empty restaurant. Never seen something like this

This is a beautiful town in a breathtaking location. Hotel has history and a phenomenal spot. Staff are great, pool and spa/sauna area are above-average but...it looks like it's been renovated far too many times and decorated by 6 different interior designers with no common "concept". Staff: In general, staff were more than delightful and room was generally cleaned well (though one day was just accidentally skipped). Room: Gorgeous balcony and very comfortable beds. Shower had no light in it which was odd. Parts of the room were very beat-up including a significant piece of broken wood by the window. There was a crusty piece of something on the nightstand that, for days, was never wiped off. Hallways are cleaned by a roomba which was a little...tacky. Rooms are all different given age of hotel and this one had a HUGE bookcase/closet that really chopped up the room in an unideal way. Really should have had a coffee machine in the room - not "on request". Also, so much paper and random materials spread around the room. Food: Included breakfast was fine. Pretty rudimentary with no special day-of pastries and eggs were only by order. Could expand the coffee offerings to have more than just a giant banquet-style coffee pot. Afternoon cakes is a nice touch though wasn't well-replenished nor maintained. Overall concept: Hotel needs to decide what it is - hip and modern, old-school European, fancy chalet or homey Bed and Breakfast. Sadly, the "look" tried to be all and there were just way too many interior design concepts going on between the lobby, the hallways, the rooms, the common areas - even the carpeting and wall coverings. Paintings in room like they were random pieces from a garage sale. Bring in a consultant or a designer and do a refresh with an eye toward consistency! Prime example was the "survey" provided on arrival. Looked like a grade-school child designed it then printed it on a green piece of paper folded in half. NO branding. I definitely don't think this is of Relais and Chateaux caliber. Again, staff are lovely but photos are a tad misleading and it doesn't have the glamour that it could. Would love to hear that is someday remedied.

The personnel in the hotel is so nice and kind. The spa seems to be recently renovated. It’s very comfortable- the location, parking, even an electric charger. We had a wonderful time and could relax completely

From the moment we arrived, we felt most welcome. We arrived three hours before check-in and were able to go to the SPA immediately. Massage was brilliant. The room was lovely and breakfast very tasty. Staff were helpful and sweet. We’ll definitely come again and recommend this to anyone in need of some relaxation.
