My room had a nice view and was very clean. But there was no AC and the small fridge didn't work. While it was ok, I would spend the money on someplace nicer

Good location just 800 metres from the lake, with private car parking (chargeable), welcoming at reception and happy to offer tourist advice. Visit the Olympic Museum, it’s great!

Clean hotel. Close to lake. Will recommend it to friends.

It was a nice stop on our tour of Switzerland. We did not get much time to visit the area.

My husband booked this place based on price. It was very uncomfortable. There is no A/C, even though they said they had it. The room (we had 4 of us) was extremely small, the beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom has a frosted glass door that was not sound proof at all. It is not close to the Lake at all and is too far from the main part of town. There are no good restaurants nearby. There is 2 groceries, though. The front desk was very rude--when I asked for a map of the bus system, he sighed and said it was very complicated and that he didn't have one. They never greeted us and seemed disinterested that we were there.

No air conditioning, and lots of road noise. View of lake was blocked by cranes in the back. The fridges in the rooms did not work. Brought that to the staffs attention and they said they don’t turn them on. We did put some food and drinks in their fridge but after 6 hours it was like warm. Since their bar was closed they did not have any ice....even though they have a restaurant there. Not sure about a restaurant that does not have ice....we did not eat there.

We stayed two nights in late July. The room was not air conditioned so beware it does get very warm in July for those who are used to air conditioning. Location was out of the bustle. Great access to transportation and the staff was very helpful. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Hot water and water pressure were plentiful.

This is an older hotel but with updated rooms. Very friendly and helpful at front desk. Location on a useful bus line to see Cathedral and other Lausanne highlights. Proximity to water/beach is excellent. Only caution is lack of A/C. Fans in room won’t overcome summer heat during day, but if only in room during evening, open window works just fine.
