Bellerive Hotel

We arrived early evening at the hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the choice between a room with or without A/C, we took the first. We received 2 free tickets for the bus for 2 days and a clear explanation of the bus routes ( for the ones that stopped ear the hotel). She also recommended the dinning facilities near the lake which is a 5 minute walk. We took some Thai food which was very good. The next day we took the bus to the centre. Good place to stay.

The room was so good with the view. Kamal was the receptionist who took care of us at arrival. She was very professional and charming. She gave us a lot good information on places to visit. The only negative part was the bed. One of the twin beds was very uncomfortable. Other than that the hotel is in a nice location.

Large bathroom. Hotel staff was very helpful with how to get around Lausanne. Some rooms have AC, some don’t.

Average place. Clean. Not much charm. Nice walk to the lake and park. Breakfast acceptable.

Here are some info for future guests: The reception was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean. The location was great and close to lake. Breakfast was great. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

When we check in, the girl at front desk made us waited for good 5 minutes when she tried to finished whatever she was working on before we were served. It is not very polite to keep your guest waiting for no good reason. The front desk closed at 11pm. Besides not so good front desk service, hotel is pretty clean but a bit far from any attraction. Not too many restaurants are within walking distance. If you look for a quiet place to stay, it is good but don’t expect service and convenience.

Clean premises and helpful staff. I opted for the room with a lake view but the room being on the second floor, the view was very restricted (and yet we were upgraded from the first to the second floor)

Perfect location for walking to Lakeside, close to free public transport to centre and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Oh and the bathroom was enormous!

Lovely hotel with spectacular views. Staff were courteous and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location with easy access to metro transportation (ride ticket provided, buss stop 1-2 minute walk). Friendly staff, clean facility and in good repair.
