Bellerive Hotel

Room was very basic with old carpets & curtains & coffees machne broken... Very poor value given high price for triple room... Staff were ok but reception was shabby & breaffast cost extra at CHF15.. Should be included.

The staff is very helpful, polite, accommodating. Very comfortable for a three star. My room had a/c, (with climate change no longer a nice-to-have), breakfast was simple and good quality. Even had British type breakfast. Only drawback is not all rooms have a/c and no fridge. Buy an ice box at the local Denner/Migros. There is a dry cleaner next door that does laundry for you. And a few bakeries that are just sublime. Steps away from Ouchy Beach. Great location!

This was a wonderful large room for a city centre hotel. There is car parking on site. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and when we had a problem were very efficient in helping to address it. Very clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Also easy with our dog, which is unusual for city stays - grass and easy walking behind the hotel. Lift right by the doors. Excellent.

Enjoyed staying at Bellerive Hotel! Grateful to be able to park in their lot. It was easy to walk/take the bus around town (transit pass covered when you pay the Hotel City Tax). I believe they also have bicycles to borrow, but I didn’t have enough time to explore that. Through the parking lot is a walking path that leads you down to the lake within 10-15 minutes, where there are restaurants and parks. On the same street as the hotel are stores and restaurants. Bus stops are within 5 minute walking. Very convenient location! Staff was helpful. Had a beautiful view of the lake from our room. WiFi is available, a bit spotty within room, but there are chairs in the lobby and it works fine there. Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Here are some things that I liked about the Hotel Bellerive: Parking is easy. There is a large lot directly behind the building. You get a free train/bus pass for all persons in your reservation. The beds and the room were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The view of the lake from the window was beautiful. The hotel is close to some parks/playgrounds for children. There is a pastry shop next door. My only complaint is that the tub/shower is very uncomfortable. It is very deep and curves in a way that makes it uncomfortable to stand and shower in. This is a very minor complaint, and I would happily stay in this hotel again.

A comfy place to stay. Older building and amenities but overall good.

Very nice hotel, located about 15 minutes from downtown. Buses are frequent and free for hotel guests. The rooms are super clean, and those with view of the lake are worth the little extra cost. Very friendly staff.

This is my second time staying at this cosy hotel, i love the location , The street had all kind of different shops, staff were super friendly .this time i had my room with a lake view, it was breathtaking in the morning. Coffee machine, water , clean towels. Couldn't ask for more.

This was a good, well-priced hotel in Lausanne, where it is hard to stay without spending a lot of money. It’s away from the centre of town but the buses are frequent and can get you everywhere you need. Good bakeries nearby, comfortable bed and our room had an excellent view of the lake, easy parking. Rooms are dated and no air conditioning but would happily stay again.

Excellent small hotel. Great value for money, and each room has its own Air Conditioning machine that works well rather than warm air blowing in as still found in many European hotels. Good position for shops and transport connections. Beautiful room views of Lake Geneva.
