Hotel Alpenroyal

Really enjoyed this hotel as a landing point after our ski/exploration days. Comfortable and walkable. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

Get a room with the view it’s so worth it. We woke up every morning looking at the Matterhorn. Great staff, nice breakfast very comfortable room, good size. Short downhill walk into town and then of course back up after dinner but so worth it for that view. There is an elevator a bit further up the hill you can also take. Hotel has a jitney for your luggage.

The staff were very nice and friendly. Noemi at the front desk is lovely and very polite. Miguel is truly a gentleman and very kind person. He’s always working hard to make us smile!

Albeit this is a 3 star property facilities were good and staff was brilliant.

The view of the Matterhorn/Zermatt is unmatched. Also, there is an elevator at the property next door which eliminates the need to walk up a long hill to get to and from the property. Management offered to shuttle us to the train station when it was time to leave.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and hot tub. Amazing views of the Matterhorn. Great restaurant across the street with great views of the Matterhorn. Hotel will pick you up at train station or taxi garage if you call them for free. Great breakfast.

Staff was terrific, very nice breakfast, indoor pool, fantastic view of the Matterhorn!
