Apartamentos Suites Santa Cruz

Well located and comfortable apartment. The only issue was that one weekend night there was a loud party till 3am, in the building next door, which made it difficult to sleep.

we had a reservation for the hotel. when we arrived we were told that there is a problem with the room and that they upgraded us for the suite. the truth was that they moved us to a separated apartment from the hotel. it was old and dark room. we had to go up the stairs with the suitcase and there were a lot of problems in the room. the air conditioner was broken, we couldn't control the remote and it was freezing at night. the towel's holder in the shower got broke and fell on my feet and it was heavy! and there is no door to the shower and the water comes out. and the breakfast was a joke. it was a close bags of food like in the airplane. we paid 120 euro! and we were said we got an upgrade, but actually we got separated from the hotel. it was not a good experience for us and we were on our honeymoon. too bad! the guy who tried to help us- Alejandro was very nice, it wasn't his folt. just the manager of the hotel. the location is good.

25 EUR additional fee for arrival after 21h :-( not communicated before booking. Too many contact persons, who obviously do not communicate with each other, make it difficult for the guest. Although everyone was friendly and the response time was short, it is annoying when you are asked, for example, 3 times for your passport ID. I really wanted 2 separate beds and had this confirmed in writing. Upon arrival, the surprise - even for the employee - the beds were not separated. No possibility to get another apartment, only the next day. The apt was on the first floor, very dark, the bed separated from the busy alley only by half meter. Therefore, the floor-to-ceiling window could not be opened, no curtain. We turned on the air conditioner. No one told us it was broken, it was heating instead of cooling. Stifling heat in the room. A portable air conditioner in the room was also broken. The staff knew the problem. They apologized the next day and offered free breakfast. The new apt was then frozen, here was then missing a blanket ! There was none ! Only a sheet. Late check-out was offered but after we have left for sightseeing we were asked to come back and pack our stuff as the room was needed at 1pm.

excellent location. staff very good, particularly joaquin. bed very comfortable.

could do with some bottled water. door a little noisy.

air con was broken. fan doesn’t work. asked for it to be fixed, it wasn’t. when we arrived, no one was at reception, had to call multiple times and send emails, before getting a response

very well located, quite big and amazing staff who helped us with anything we needed and let us check in very early !

The bathtub was not perfectly clean (some hair left from the previous guests) and the shower extremely small and not working properly. Also, the two small beds stuck next to each other were of bad quality and the sheets too small for the pillows..

The location is difficult to find, but we did eventually find our way with the assistance of the property attendant. We were given a twin room even though we requested a double. This was a bit disappointing, but understandable given there was an event on the coming weekend. The wifi was useless and the heat did not work. The beds were also on very flimsy frames and were not at all comfortable matresses. These were our major issues. We had to find a cafe to plan out out trip with maps. We couldn't use our phones at all. Of everywhere we've stayed in Spain so far, this was the biggest let down. We've stayed in nicer hostels. If you can afford to spend a little more, do it.
