Gasthof Koreth

Quirky very old building with lots of character. Bed was huge and the balcony had a great view, when the cloud lifted. Great transport, bus stop right outside and an easy walk into the town.

Didn't love that people were smoking in the building, currently pregnant so extra sensitive to it, it didn't smell directly in the room but the hallways were very strong. Floors were very creaky, but did add to the old charm of the place. There is a €3 per person, per day charge added at the end for some local tax wasn't mentioned before we paid at the end.

The room was clean. Average size. Definitely comfortable

The bathroom, more specifically, the shower. It was a super slippery bathtub. Not easy to get in and out of, and definitely hazardous. I actually only took one shower in the 3 days we were there, as I was afraid to get back into it. My wife wouldn't attempt it at all.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The room was spotless, and the bathroom was equally clean. Despite being in a very old building, it has been maintained exceptionally well. The location is highly convenient, with Bus 503 providing easy connectivity to Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (Hbf), taking just about 13 minutes. If you have an Innsbruck Card, you can even travel on the bus for free. I stayed on the second floor, and my room had a balcony offering a stunning view of the Alps.

I really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff members and the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms were roomy and had everything we needed. The breakfast was also really lovely with a variety of choices of deli meets, cheeses, bread, mueslis, and hard boiled eggs. The hotel is in a really good location and the hotel has so much history.
