Alberghetto La Marianna

I've stayed at several different hotels in several different countries I'm a Hilton honors Diamond member and a marriot bonvoy member and I have never experienced a better stay. The staff were all so friendly and kind and the rooms were big and had everything you needed. Parking was included and the breakfast was on the lake and was included in the stay too. We had such a great stay and we will be coming back!

While not a luxury hotel, this place, if you're looking for a rustic true Italian hospitality experience will leave you in awe. The hotel is very cozy, and well situated, but what makes the place are the owners and their son. Their home made food is incredible, home made bread and fresh fruits and vegetables are incredible. I almost forgot what a tomato should taste like. The hotel is very clean, and follows all covid protocol.

While not the newest, and most luxiourious, this hotel makes really provides an experience in Italian hospitality . The hotel gives an authentic home feel, and the staff goes out of their way to make you as cofortable as possible. The breakfast and dinner options are simple but the food is really fresh, and extremely tasty. Im very happy we picked tjis place and will return for sure

Lovely place to stay and visit Lake Como. As first time visitors, Paulo and Giacomo were so helpful planning our time there.

Very friendly, attentive staff, family owned, with a stunning restaurant/breakfast area overlooking Lake Como. Food was outstanding and freshly made daily. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve just got back from having a fantastic holiday staying at this friendly family run hotel. spotlessly clean, immaculate with a very comfortable room, breakfasts awesome on the terrace overlooking the lake. We had supper one night at the hotel which was absolutely delicious!! The owners were very accommodating, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely go back and recommend hotel la Marianna !

We had a wonderful stay at Alberghetto La Marianna. The area was still impacted by Covid-19 restrictions, but it did not effect our stay in a negative way. The location is perfect for exploring the lake Como area, as it is close to many ferry connections, as well as many activities in the area like kayaking, swimming etc. The room and service was great, and we received a lot of helpful advice. Also the breakfast was delicious, with several homemade options for bread, cake and more. The breakfast terrace is also a spectacular place to start the day! Would highly recommend a visit here for those interested in exploring the beautiful lake Como and its surroundings.

This was such an amazing find due to my partner who did the research! But you never know until you meet your hosts and this is a wonderful family who have taken all the right precautions for protecting guests during Covid without depersonalising the experience. Most importantly from an enjoyment perspective is that the food is amazing and the setting is spectacular, you eat right on the lake on their own promontory.... It does not get much better than that. The rooms are simple, clean and well equipped including air conditioning, and the view from the small balconies over the lake is wonderful. For those that want to dip into lake Como for a swim, there are two small pebbly beaches within walking distance. The nearest town with ice cream shops is 300m along the lake and you can take the ferry to other parts of the lake from there too. Conveniently, you also get a parking card so that you can use the car park less than 100m away.

Really good location. Short walk to the ferry stop and across from Bellagio. Bus stops right outside as well to come from or go to Como train station. Friendly owners and cosy feel.

We had a wonderful stay at La Marianna - we really enjoyed their hospitality and the delicious breakfast on the terrace with the beautiful view of lake como was just perfect.
