Great location! Easy walking to Cadanabba ferry and a bus stop literally at the front door! Quiet area with a few small restaurants close by. It's an old place that was refurbished by the owners of the last 20 years. It has that old world cozy feel with lots of stone, antique furnishings and the wonderful aroma of dinner coming from the kitchen. At first I thought my room (not a lake view) was dingy-looking due to the lighting but it was quite comfortable and clean and equipped with all I could need. The very best part of this place is the family who owns it! They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They helped me with reliable directions and even an umbrella loan.They seriously, made me feel like one of their own. Thank you Giacomo, Paola and Papa Valentini!

A little worn but lots of charm and lovely location by the lake. Friendly staff with good suggestions for local activities. Great food on the terrace overlooking Lake Como. Easy to get to the ferry. Road in front of the hotel can get pretty busy..

Beautiful small family run hotel on edge Lake Como Warm welcome from Paola with delicious cake and tea at terrace overlooking water. Exquisite home cooking, every dinner was a delight Close to ferry to access Varenna and it’s train station

Property is nicely situated to get to all transportation. The ferry to Belaggio and Varenna was super easy. Paolo and Giacomo could not be any nicer and helpful. The C10 bus is great way to up and down the west side of the lake. So ease if transportation ease of transportation was great. Even the fast ferry to Como was 4 minute bus ride. Of coure you have to buy tickets for bus ar local food store or bar down the road. Their hospitality was first rate. Always looking to be helpful. Breakfast and coffee were wuite good . The rooms are simple. Our room was better to take bath and wash our school. Room were clean and maintained. We stayed in room in front of house. With Lake View. Quite Nice. Please know about 5.30 - 6.00 the noise from traffic picks up significantly as you wake. The price was reasonable, the hospitality was wonderful and cost was more than fair Certainly a place you want to check out before paying huge dollars somewhere else.

It was wonderful. The family was very kind and made us feel welcome. We loved the view! It was quaint and we got to use the old timey key for our room. The weather was great and so all meals were across the street on their veranda directly on the water. It is outdoors so be sure to get bug spray. We didn’t mind the noise from the road right outside our window either..it quieted at night. Perfect location across from Bellagio.

Home away from home hotel , attentive and professionally family run from check in , breakfast and dinner we enjoyed being served by Giacomo and Sig. Paola and of course delicious dinners prepared by chef Ti made our stay memorable . The hotel has a perfect setting overlooking lake Como and weather permitting breakfast served on veranda . A small, very nice family run hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful with information. The location is very convenient and a ferry ride over to Bellagio. The ferries run about every forty minutes and last one back from Bellagio is around midnight. The ferry terminal is about 500 metres from the hotel. Menaggio is about 3km away and is a lovely town definitely worth a visit. The breakfast is served on the patio overlooking the lake if the weather is nice.

It was great the owners make you feel like family, we loved staying there and wished we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is exactly as shown on the website. It is clean, and very friendly. Giacomo, (one of the family who own the hotel), was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely each morning outside by the lake. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Italy, I would thoroughly recommend.

It is located in a very quiet area by the lake. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I felt like being home, safe and relaxing. Breakfast was well-served. Bus C10 towards Como city centre and train station is right in front of the hotel. The pier is just a 5-min walk on your right-hand side. Opposite the pier, there is a family-run bar named Bar Impero. Awesome people and food! There is a small but beautiful Anglican Church next to the bar. Villa Carlotte is just another 5-min from the church on your right. Highly recommend for those who want a relaxing and quiet holiday.
