Hospitality at its best in the rustic family owned property. You are treated like family from the moment you arrive. We are not ones to eat at the hotel but we had dinner there both nights and we’re impressed both times.

A warm welcome awaits you by a lovely couple with the hotel well positioned at the edge of the lake. It is close to the car ferry to Ballagio and easy transport access to other local places. Breakfast was served at the lake side. Stunning views - what more could you want!

A gem of a hotel. Large rooms & modern retro bathrooms that wouldn’t look out of place in an old Sophia Loren movie. Perfect location for visiting the most beautiful local towns & the famous Villa Carlotta . Great transport links. Wonderful family run business. Traditional hospitality with modern facilities. You just don’t get many like this anymore.

If I could rate this higher than 5 for staff and quality of food I would. The rooms are small and old fashioned but with a balcony overlooking Lake Como for $120 per night .. it was totally fine. Staff found a garage mechanic for us and Jacobo led us to his garage where our problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed in less than two hours. Restaurant extends out over the lake and the chef/owner creates a four course menu each night, of which you can choose how many courses you want. Nothing else on the menu .. but food was exquisite. There are normal items for kids also. All in all, best value for our money we've found in years.

A lovely hotel and family who own it. Very comfortable. Friendly and helpful about the area. Good advise on how to get around and where to go. A gorgeous terrace for meals, overlooking Lake Como across from Belaggio. We were also able to take a swim. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This vintage inn is so charming. I loved everything about it. It was just what we were looking for on Lake Como The gardens were blooming and the vista from the comfortable terrace was beautiful. Paola and Jacko were wonderful, helpful hosts and Ty is a skilled and entertaining chef. We had an exceptional dinner in dinning room due to a little rain which was so fun and intimate. Breakfasts were excellent served on the lakeside terrace. The region is just beautiful, unspoiled and easy exploring. We had a lake view and with the windows closed the traffic noise was really no problem for us (but close the shutters, as lake side is east facing!). Parking was easy and across the street.

Fantastic family run hotel, close to ferry and bus stop right at doorstep. restaurant on the water. Homemade cooking was fabulous and appreciated the electric jug to boil water. Fantastic!

Amazing views! owners are very sweet and accommodating. Loved that it was Away from all the tourists, Love it ! Everything was Wonderful !

This is a pretty B & B with a great restaurant (and a wonderful breakfast on the terrace, by the water). The owners are very nice. The drawback was that it's right on the road (and I mean really right on the road) so it's quite noisy.

This quaint hotel is in the perfect location, with its outside bar (and breakfast area when the weather allows) has stunning views over Lake Como, where you can see Varenna, Maggio and Bellagio. A short walk from the ferry and also a local supermarket, run by a family who really know how to look after their guests, it is a hotel i would recommend time and time again and will one day revisit.
