HG Lomo Blanco

Room was clean and spacious.....bed very comfortable and linen of good standard. Shampoo and soap etc in bathroom. Bottle of water in fridge on arrival Near 161 bus to airport bus stop

Had to wait til after 3pm for room to be ready for us... Very steep hill to get to hotel from Puerto del Carmen Centre Balcony in our room facing into pool and not private as many ballconies in square formation face into pool..so overlooked We only stayed for a night in Puerto del carmen.... Lighting not great for make up

Myself and my daughter booked the HG Lomo Blanco for a four night stay during the mid-term break. One of the main reasons we chose these apartments was due to the very good cleanliness standards it was said to have. We had requested one of the renovated apartments in Block B if possible but we weren't allocated one of these and I understand that all requests cannot be fulfilled especially during the busier periods. The apartment we were assigned hadn't been cleaned properly and the sofa had no covers on the foam. I had to ask for the floors to be cleaned, but they only swept them until I specified that they needed to be mopped also. The covers that they put on the sofa were still damp. So after all this, I insisted on being moved to a different apartment and they gave me one in block B and this apartment was much brighter and cleaner and nearer to what I had been expecting. This complex is in an excellent location near the shopping centre and between the old town, but I cannot recommend it due to the unfortunate and stressful experience I had at the start of the stay.

Fabulous place. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The pools were clean, lots of sunbeds and pool bar nearby. Breakfast was excellent and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartments were fairly central although the walk back up from the beach is not for the faint hearted! There is a lift taking you down to the mall which is useful.

Nice location,close to beach and both the old town and new town,pool area is well looked after and communal areas are generally clean and well maintained.The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were staying in room 145 which turned out is adjacent to where cleaners and staff have a store room,the bedroom window is beside where they are talking and sorting bins in the morning also there is bins out on the road that a truck emtpys in the morning creating a good bit of noise too.We were offered to change rooms on the sixth day but as we were only staying for 7 nights we decided to stick with it.Overall it's a very good place to stay just I wouldn't like to be located in the same area again as it can be noisy in the morning.

Location was good, few minutes walk down to the seafront and 4 euro taxi ride back up. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, pool bar, plenty of sun beds and clean surroundings. Two bedroom apartment was spacious with space to cook if needed, large comfy beds, and nice large shower room. Seating inside for dining and balcony with table and chairs. Really good value for money and I would return.
