HG Lomo Blanco

Hi all at Lomo blanco, I stay at this hotel every year we been coming here for around 10years staff at hotel are lovely, ladies at reception are also lovely and very helpful. The grounds are kept lovely we just returned from there Jan 2026, but I did notice that the paint work on the skirting boards need refreshing up and the fridge in room 306 need replacing as the front of the plastic is stained and looks very unpleasant the sink in the bathroom had a screw missing which held it up and the side of the fridge and side of sink was full of crumbs and crackers. I’m sorry I’m having to write this review, I’m hoping this will be sorted out for my next return.

Lovely well maintained apartments which were cleaned regularly during our 7 day stay. We stayed in a lower ground floor apartment which was ideal as my husband is on crutches. I would highly recommend a stay here.

A lovely 3* , check in was quick and easy our apartment simple to find beds set up for children in front room ready to go! Room could be improved dust and paint flaking but it does the job. Have to say the shower was amazing! Room self catering toastie machine kettle fridge freezer and microwave oven combi , only thing we would want is bigger cups but that’s just preference. Location good 5 min walk down to main strip lots of restaurants within walking distance & the beach! Lidl 10 min walk spar 3/4 mins away! There’s no air con in room 2 big fans in ceiling it does get hot! The hotel has 3 pools one a baby pool not massive but they feel slightly heated and there’s a little play park for kids. There is no sunbed wars at all plenty available throughout the day! (We came feb half term) The hotel seems to have been newly renovated the reception bar area and lounge are new and welcoming. There is a big book swap area like a mini library! There is a restaurant on site (we haven’t used) and bar in day which serves food drink and icecream We had entertainment on a 2 nights of our stay karaoke and singer but other than music round the pool it’s pretty chill (I knew this on booking) There is a mini gym and shower room to use before you leave WiFi not very good intermittent worked first day around the pool most the time but not in bedroom got worse as the week went on! All staff we’ve met have been lovely rooms cleaned daily (except Monday) Easy to change £ to € in town good exchange rate when we were there to! If there’s availability you can keep your room on day of check out for €10 per hour All in all great location well priced and would return for another cheap & cheerful sun break it was exactly what we wanted for a break away from the English weather!

This is the Second time we had stopped here and disappointed with the noise levels day around pool area. There were children running in and out of sun beds all day shouting and screaming along with their parents who shouted too. It was not a relaxing area to sit or swim. It clearly stated no inflatables , balls or diving in the pool. At one time there was 7 inflatables and 5 balls in the pool which made it impossible to swim. Then children constantly jumping and diving into the pool No staff member said anything??? My husband went back to our room for a sleep as he felt unwell and couldn’t sleep because of the noise. I had booked to return next year but will be changing hotels to adult only as this hotel is not for people who want a relaxing holiday.

Lovely Apartments,well maintained and cleaned regularly during our 7 day stay. Staff extremely helpful, polite and hard working. Was so impressed with our stay we have booked again for our 30th wedding anniversary in September. Ideally situated in Puerto del carmen close to Central part of both old town and new town. We stopped in a lower ground floor apartment which is ideal for those with mobility issues. Would highly recommend a stay here.We travelled with Jet 2 and will definitely be back.

The apartment was lovely and clean . Lovely and quiet . Staff all round be it cleaners reception bar staff were so friendly and helpful .

Location! Staff! Pool Area

Room was very Shaded with the trees out Front. Pillows were very Uncomfortable.

Very disappointing stay first and last time to stay here. There was mould on the wall underneath the window in the bedroom and a smell of must in the bedroom. Both myself and my husband ended up going to a doctor and we are now back home and still sick. Breakfast was very disappointing too. Would not be recommending this place to anyone else.
