Lovely staff, always available and with good recommendations. Good breakfast with fresh fruits.

This boutique hotel was located in a neighborhood just a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. Eddy, the owner, refurbished the old manor to resemble it's original state. This manor stands proud and elegant with it's original splendor. Eddy was on hand to answer questions and help in any way possible. The breakfast was amazing with made-to-order eggs plus homemade orange juice and breads. Laundry service with ironing was available for a small cost.

The first floor room with a balcony was on the street side so it did not offer privacy.

The staff was very nice. It was quiet and comfortable. The view from the rooftop is very nice.

A bit further to walk to el centro where most of the decent restaurants are located but I enjoyed the walk most of the time.

We loved our stay at Casa Arequipa! The house is historic and beautiful with each room, tastefully decorated. Our room was clean, comfortable and had antique furniture with woven tapestries on the walls. We found the beds to be comfortable and appreciated the complimentary teas that they offered in the common area. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious and filling, with a nice view of the volcano and the city. The staff were exceptional. They were always available if you needed anything and Edy was a fantastic host! They gave us a list of suggested restaurants for lunch and dinner and the 3 that we went to were really good. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and only 10-15 minute walk from the Plaza de Armes. We felt safe walking around at night and the house is secure with a gate. I highly recommend that you stay here while in Arequipa!

The rooms are a good size; it's a nice boutique hotel, with stunning views of the snow-covered mountains in the distance; the breakfast is excellent (fried eggs, fruit, orange juice, and as much coffee as you want); a short walk from the Plaza de Armas; very friendly and attentive staff; and a very reasonable rate!!
