Château de Courtebotte

Relaxing stay. Lovely room and pool. Will look forward to return visits.

Highly recommend this wonderful Chateau on the banks of The Dordogne. Beautiful inside and out with highly individual rooms. We stayed in The Pavilion which you can see on the photograph attached. Wonderful hosts and a tremendous breakfast, all home made, juices, yoghurt, crepes, jams. Really delicious and plentiful. We hadn't been to the area before, if we return will be sure to stay here

Isabel was extremely helpful with restaurants, tourist things.

It was an amazing chateau. I wish we could have spent another night I highly recommend staying here.

We had a special 3 days at the Chateau De Courtebotte, just regret we did not book for a longer stay. Isabelle is a great host and the food, dinner and breakfast, outstanding. Recommendations for visits and restaurants in the local area were all great. Our room was quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time with great memories and highly recommend a stay at the Chateau.

Experience was wonderful, Isabelle was so helpful with everything, everything was perfect, hated to leave!

Amazing place that I will say is the best place I have ever stayed in. Short way to the great little town St. Emilion which is worth the trip. Would recommend this as a place for Couples, Families, and friends....

So so good. One of the best places we have ever stayed, we couldn't fault anything. The location was perfect; on the bank of the Dordogne approximately one hour drive from Bordeaux. A great place to get away from it all and unwind. There is also a brilliant restaurant (recommended by Isabelle) less than ten minutes walk away (Auberge Saint Jean). The property was stunning. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice. We stayed in the Patio Suite, we would highly recommend. The private terrace was perfect for chilling. We had our breakfast served there each morning. The breakfast was huge and so tasty. The bathroom was huge and well designed; the bath is amazing. The owners Isabelle and Pascal make this place. They are the perfect hosts and will do anything to help. Much better service and personal interaction than you'd get in any hotel. I could write so many positive things about the Chateau but the only thing I need to say is book now, you will not be disappointed!

Awesome stay, the hotelier was delightful and the food lovely. The owner makes you feel part of the family, as well as leave you with lots of peace and quiet. It would be hard not to return to this hotel.

You really can't fault this place. Isabelle couldn't do enough to help us, from booking in wine tours and restaurants in advance of arrival, to rescuing us when we were lost! The grounds are stunning, and the interior of the building has been renovated outstandingly. We had the room with the huge terrace at the front which overlooked the river and caught the evening sun and the room was stunning! We had a meat/cheese board on our first evening which was delicious, and the breakfasts were equally impressive. Isabelle is a fantastic cook! Staying here was the highlight of our trip and I'd certainly say it's one of the best places I've ever stayed.
