Château de Courtebotte

We loved our stay at chateau courtebotte! Isabelle was very sweet and knowledgable about the area. She made a fabulous traditional French meal for us and the other guests in the glamorous dining room. She prepared a complete itinerary for my husband and I while we stayed in the town! We loved every second of our experience.

I stayed there for 2 nights with my wife.We both really enjoyed the hotel. My wife loved the decoration especially the fireplaces were beautiful. The building was impressive.

Recently restored 17th century chateau with a very accommodating innkeeper. Large rooms, pool, jacuzzi, all nicely furnished. Isabelle (owner/innkeeper) recommended wonderful restaurants and arranged winery tours. Located approximately 10km from St. Emilion on the Dordogne River. Note that the chateau is located just outside a small village, so you will need a personal or rental car to access it.

We choose the Chateau because we needed to stay a night prior to driving to Paris….Isabelle was really quite wonderful and our stay was magnificent. We arrived from St Emilion and were blown away by the beauty of the Chateau. Great location, near the Dordogne river, Great pool, large rooms, fabulous breakfast.. on the grounds was a little children's play house, a " tree house' that you can rent out.. a billiard Table..We felt like the count and countress coming back to stay!! Can't say enough good things.. we will return!! Also Isabelle booked us a table at a brand new Michelin Stared restaurant… GREAT meal within walking distance to the Chateau

Although this was just an overnight stay en route through France we received excellent service in this beautiful chateau. Isabelle the owner could not have been more hospitable, recommending a visit to St Emilion and a restaurant there. Will definately return abd stay longer. Thoroughly recommend.

Recently renovated chateau and adjoining buildings, offering a range of room options. The owners are not only extremely hospitable, but they have spared no expense in creating 'home from home' accommodation. Recommended if you want a quiet location 15 minutes from St Emilion and with easy access to both Bordeaux and the Dordogne.

Upon making a reservations on hotels.com, Isabelle (owner of the property) emailed us and basically planned our whole stay in the St Emilion region. She booked vineyard tours for us and the dinner recommendations were excellent (although we could have done without the Micheline star one). The only thing to note is breakfast was charged extra and a bit pricey. The design is beautiful and our stay was overall extremely enjoyable.

Isabelle and her family have worked hard to create a stylish and comfortable environment for guests in their beautiful old chateau. We stayed in the Pavilon, which is a small cottage in the chateau's grounds with great views from it's position on the banks of the Dordogne. The Pavilon is ideal for a couple in it's lovely upstairs bedroom but does have a convertible double bed in the downstairs lounge as well. Isabelle's breakfasts, eaten round a large communal table in the splendid dining room, are a delight with pancakes etc made to order. We would thoroughly recommend Chateau de Courtbotte to anyone staying in this area.

Great location, fantastic Chateau, superb hostess. This was easily one of our best mid-week breaks. Isabelle, our hostess, managed everything and made this a fantastic time. St Emilion is beautiful and the local restaurant (Auberge de Saint Jean) was great.

This is a great B&B in an old Chateau that is being refurbished. The rooms are very modern and extremely nice and the service could not be better. My wife and I decided at last minute to stay there and booked the hotel Friday evening. Saturday morning I received an email from Isabelle asking if we were interested in a local winery tour or if she could book a reservation for us at a local restaurant. We did both and had a fantastic weekend. Location is about 10 min drive from St. Emilion in a small town along the Dordogne river. Rooms have a view of the river and have wifi, satellite TV, very comfortable bed. We will definitely be staying there again, great B&B!
