Casa del Miele

It was close to the airport and the owner will arrange transport

It was difficult to get to and there weren’t many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was not provided nor was there a fridge or kettle coffee/tea making facilities.

We arrived late into Marco Polo airport so stayed at Case del Miele due to its proximity. From our brief stay, the house was very clean and the host was very helpful giving us good advice for bus links to the airport to collect hired car. I wish I had more time to explore Venice, and if I return would happily consider Casa del Miele.

Everything is really clean and comfy. It's better to call Enrico before and make sure about your time of arrival. Also check buses / car journey before as it is close to airport but transportation is still necessary. Enrico was very helpful, offered a ride to the airport on last day as I had a early flight and it was for very fair price :) It was overall a pleasant stay !

Everything was good but it's important that you can call the owner locally before coming to the hotel.

The host provided us with detailed information on how to get to Venice. For instance, there are a few different paths (by bus and even by boat). We tried each of them. Actually, from Marco Polo airport, you can arrive at the Center of Venice in 1 hour by boat, costing $15 (and see the main islands on your way). From the main Venice bus station, you can get directly to the hotel. The room was clean and comfy, and there is hot water in the shower. Perhaps the house hasn't been renovated for a long time, which could be a downside for some people, but we were okay with that.

There is no breakfast provided in the hotel, despite it being called a "Bed and Breakfast." You don't even get a teapot to make a cup of tea or coffee in the morning. Additionally, there aren't any cafes nearby. Of course, the host warns about this in their advertisement, so make sure to read the instructions carefully.

Enrico was an excellent host. He fetched us from the airport AND provided us with bus tkts to Venice.
