A nice, basic hotel. Centrally located in Odda. Comfortable beds and a decent breakfast buffet, with easy options if you also want to pack your own lunch. We had a room facing the back, which was a bit noisy, especially in the morning as that is where the delivery trucks are. If available, I would have paid the extra for a room facing the fjord.

Great place to stay, easy check in, very polite staff, they upgraded on arrival to a top floor room with massive new bathroom, huge corner bath and walk in shower. We had a fantastic view of the fjord from our balcony and room. The room was spotless, beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good. We booked this accommodation in the hope of doing the Trolltunga walk (the same as everyone in Odda!) however the forecast was horrendous so we bailed, be prepared for people being on the corridors at 4am with little care for how much noise they make. Not the hotel’s fault but ear plugs at the ready. Would definitely recommend.

Rooms need updating (we stayed in 416) it was a 1970s time capsule. No blackout curtains which is very annoying for summer time travel when sunset is after 2200 and sun rise is before 0500. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and well situated. Expensive/ like everything else in in Norway.

Loved our stay! The room we got had beautiful views and the morning breakfast was decent. The hotel is outdated, but vintage and the surrounding scenery makes up for all the minor flaws.
