Ritter Hotel

Non è un albergo. All'arrivo ho trovato chiuso e ho dovuto telefonare per far arrivare qualcuno che ha voluto contanti (manca una reception degna di questo nome). La stanza era datata con un bagno indecente. Può andare bene al massimo per una notte . Peccato perche la posizione è molto buona.

Please do not stay in this hotel. The hotel is a ruin and is above a bar that plays loud music until 5am - so no chance of sleeping. The hotel is so run down and they charge high prices for absolutely nothing. We unfortunately were in Frankfurt for a trade fair and left is to late to book a decent hotel. We were left with this hole that normally charges €80/night and we had to pay €250/night (without breakfast). The room stank of stale smoke and as for the red carpet..... The shower only knew very hot and cold and the hock to hold the shower in place was broken. The room was clean but there were bed bugs. Besides all of this, the hotel is a fire hazard and I would hate to think how one would get out of the hotel if there was a fire. This building should either be renovated or torn down it is not fit to be running as a hotel or even a youth hostel! PS: €80/night is far to expensive for what you get!

Ich habe keine Rechnung bekommen, auch nicht nachdem ich mehrmals eine rechnung per Mail angefordert habe. Das geht gar nicht.

Smell of stale cigarettes throughout the place. Red carpet soiled in rooms. Cigarette burn marks on furniture in room. Looked as if it could be rented hourly. Noisy bars on street below. Lasted to 3AM on a Thursday. Felt unsafe. Never again!

Also auf den Bildern sieht es ja schön aus.Aber vor Ort ein runtergekommendes Hotel und das für diesen Preis schon eine frechheit so erwas anzubieten.Fernseher nicht angeschlossen,Teppiche total versüfft,Toilette und Dusche keinen zu empfelen.

Our credit card wasn’t charged when we booked online. So when checking in they wouldn’t accept credit card and ONLY cash. The room was big, there is no air conditioning so we had to have the windows open at night. We stayed during a Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday night when we were going to bed it felt like I was trying to fall asleep in front of the speakers at a rock concert. The streets be low are lined with bars and the party lasted until 4:45 am when the police showed up to shut it down. We were hoping to get a better sleep Sunday night as people will have to work Monday. Not the case, Sunday had fewer people but it was just as loud and lasted all night. If you are young and looking to party all night this is the place for you. If you are looking to do the sightseeing and get a good nights rest I recommend looking somewhere else.

Kurz vor der Ankunft bekamen wir einen Anruf, er teilte uns mit das unser 3 Zimmer leider nicht mehr frei wären! Das am Tag der Anreise! Absolute Unverschämtheit, zumal wir einen Tag vorher noch Telefonierten um die Reservierung zu bestätigen!

So this is an older building in a very popular nightlife spot. So be aware of what you are getting. There is no air conditioning, so beware the summer. It is also right in the middle of a very active area of bars, clubs and restaurants that stay open all night. Great if you are looking for that. Staff is very nice and helpful but don't speak English. Google Translate is your friend if you don't speak German. They also only take cash. If you're an adult looking for somewhere close to crash after partying all night and don't mind lack of AC then it's perfect

Horrible service! Super expensive for the quality. They did not accept credit card for the payment. What kind of hotel does not accept credit card???? Even through Hotels.com I could not pay with my credit card. Just cash and a hand written receipt. Very dirty place near bars that drunk people were yelling until 4 AM.
