Best Western Hotel Bremen City

One of the very few hotels where we can honestly say we would NEVER return...........its located in a very unwelcoming area, its very dated and unwelcoming - it didn't offer any evening food and we had to venture outside to find something to eat.........its only redeeming feature - and that wasn't enough to change our overall feelings - was the breakfast

This hotel is excellent. From check in to checkout it has everything you need. Check in staff were efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and interested. Rooms are spacious, very clean, windows that actually open. Very good shower and coffee facilities. Breakfast is excellent. This is my first choice when in the area

Great little hotel only steps from the train station and the central station for trams and bus. Fair price, friendly staff, safe location! Close to all major attraction in Bremen.

Staff was super accommodating and kind. They gave us a luggage room which allowed us to leave our belongings and freshen up before check-in. Front desk staff was extremely friendly. The room itself was fairly unimpressive, but looking at the price, location, and remodeling in the hotel it was fine. Great location.

Small Bathroom with a few broken features. Lobby was under renovation so kind of a maze to get to the room. Good location though, with parking garage across the street. Felt private like we were the only ones staying there.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation work so the reception is a tiny desk in a cubbyhole with painter's fleece on the floors and a bunch of electrical wires snaking over the floor. Nor is the location the nicest in Bremen - close enough to the main station but dreary and feels a bit dodgy at night tbh. BUT: the staff were all so lovely, the breakfast (€16/pp) was beyond what we expected (excellent selection of warm and cold, refilled quickly, even gummibears!) and the family rooms are really excellent value for money. Tonnes of space, very quiet, separate bedroom, kitchen, very clean. No parking on site but public multistorey car park just across the street and hotel guests get a discount. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

The hotel is so close to the train station and to the Altes Rathaus and churches (Christmas market), along with many restaurants and shops. The bed and room were comfortable. The shower was a hassle because it was 'open' and water went everywhere. The internet was out during my stay (2 nights).

We had to check in at 15:00, 2 rooms booked, everything was payed in advance. Arriving by 15:00 they tell us that one room is ready and the other will take 30 minutes, so I went up 30 mins later and had to wait another 20 minutes, just because the supervisor saw me waiting in the hall,otherwise it would have taken longer. At the reception they just said sorry and they couldn't even explain because the english level was not to keep a conversation, only one lady could speak English well, but she couldn't be there during all my stay, ofc. We stayed 3 days for business, and because they didnt give me the room at the time I lost one meeting. Also, 2 days after the stay they came to clean the room and took one cigarette from my pack that was on the table, not difficult to remember when I had 3 left and after arriving to the room I had 2 left. The curtains had some old spots like from the last century. The rooms are super small, feels like in a cave, but ok, I'm not a princess. The cleaning is ok, I asked for one more towel because they provide 2, and never got it. The breakfast buffet is 15€ but very few options, so I recommend to cross the street and have an amazing breakfast in the bakery for 15€ per 2.
