The hosts are winderful -- you are in the family there! The view is gorgeous.

We had a wonderful stay and were treated more like visiting family than customers. Beautiful views of San Gim and the surrounding valley made it more special. Loved it and would go back for sure. A bit of a walk into the centre (10 mins or so), to be considered if you’re not as fond or as able. But that’s the flip side of having the great view and somewhere easy to park your car

Beautiful scenery and very comfortable accomodation. A good base for wider visits as well as an interesting town in itself

Locanda Viani is a lovely small, family run guest house. The location was perfect, a lovely peaceful place within the Tuscan countryside, yet just a pleasant country 12-15 minutes' walk from the historical centre of the town. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and we had a fabulous view from our window of the town of San Gimignano. The furnishings, facilities and general up-keep of the guest house was very good. A nice cold buffet breakfast was offered each day with cereals, meats, cheeses, toast, cakes, fruit and tea and coffee. They also wherever possible ensure their food is organic. Paula and Roberto who run the guest house were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and Paula worked hard to get our room ready ahead of schedule. They also offered helpful information and were generally always warm and welcoming. Roberto is also an excellent artist and the rooms and breakfast room were also a gallery of his amazing paintings which itself was lovely to see but also a lovely unique and personal touch to the place. And he is very talented! The guesthouse having just a few rooms made for a relaxing, quiet place with a friendly and personal feel about it. To summarise, the B&B was clean, comfortable with a great location, lovely friendly owners and a personal touch. If I was going back to San Gimignano, I would definitely stay here again. Excellent locanda - stunning views and Paola and Roberto couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Short walk to San Gimignano which is wonderful. Also served with great food. Highly recommended.
