Quiet a d peaceful location close to Bordeaux and the wine regions

We enjoyed our stay. The setting is great once you get there, but you go though industrial areas first. Swimming pool is tropical and a real chill out. Absolutely lovely. Breakfast is fine and eggs are cooked to order. It's great to sit on the terrace as you have a morning tea or coffee. All very pleasant. The only issue is the very limited food menu for other meals. It's a room service menu which they serve wherever you wish to eat and it's fine for lunch. The food is very good. You can't get a hot evening meal and you do need a car to get to any other restaurant. A taxi to/from Bordeaux town is €35 euros. We did use the hotel boat to go into Bordeaux,which was a great experience, however it is expensive for a 25 min ride. All in all, fine to chill out overnight if you have a late lunch before arriving. Glad we went! would go again if they added a couple of simple hot dishes to their menu.

Great experience outside few minutes away from the city. Close to airport away from everything beautiful and newly done facilities.

We felt like we were living in a dream! The architecture of the estate home was amazing! The room immense! The bed divine. A perfect restful moment away from an otherwise bustling travel schedule. The linens, upholstery and drapery were all done with great taste and updated, so this traditional mansion was fresh and inviting!

This is the perfect place to get away from it all and get some R&R. The only negative is that it is NOT walking distance to anything! You need to have a car to make the experience worthwhile. Taxis are extremely expensive and there is no restaurant in this hotel, just room service. The menu is very limited and pricy. However, we loved it and found it quite charming.

No restaurant at a supposed high class hotel was very disappointing especially since it was quite a way to the nearest good restaurant

Wonderful place to stay Capturing the true spirit of the region

Wonderful staff and views. Fabulous location and building. We had the garden room for a week however our King size bed was in fact two singles that moved apart. Note: Walking to town not recommended by staff but we did anyway almost trod on a snake beside the road. Taxi charges for a trip from town before they pick you up and was unable to charge my card as no coverage, Hotel staff saved the day with a loan Many thanks. Rental car a must.
