Chateau Grattequina

I enjoyed a lot our stay and the staff is very friendly and effcient I would stay here again for sure Eliza, Quiterie, Taïssa and Anaëlle do a great job and are butifull as well It is great location for going to both the Medoc and the Saint Emilion right in the middle

A little bit out of town from Bordeaux city centre but in a very relaxing setting. Nicely situated on river and amongst its own fields, a nice romantic getaway. Unlike other parts of France, the rooms are very clean and spacious with all the modern amenities. A lot of complaints were made about food but the room service delivered us hot meals at midnight with no issue. The pool isn't heated but is a nice place to relax and cool down after a day of wine tours and "sampling"

We had a great stay at Grattequina, the room was huge and very nice. JUst a 20 minute cab ride to city center and 5 minute drive to the wineries. The hotel has a private boat that you can charter to city center

Excellent location, quiet next to the river...

Spectacular chateau located on the river - the promotion photos don't anywhere near do it justice! Refurbished beautifully and respectfully to the original building. Great proximity to Bordeaux centre. An absolutely idyllic chateau stay and could not recommend more highly!

Great hotel in the country. Very close to wiln regions north of Bordeaux.

A little out of town (Bordeaux), but once you arrive a calmness relaxes you and life is good away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is wonderful and so helpful. They arranged out wine tasting day followed by a fabulous meal at Cafe du Port with a view of the bridge and river. The rooms were big, spacious and luxurious. Chateau living with elegance and practicality. Loved it and would do it again if we ever get back there.

We were absolutely pleased with everything the Chateau Grattequina had to offer us. The accomodations were excellent and clean, the daily petit dejuner (breakfast) was superb, and the entire Staff was as nice and professional as you would expect of such a beautiful Chateau Hotel! We would absolutely recommend it to everyone, and we would definitely stay there again!

Well situated hotel away from the traffic with lovely view over the river

Me and my girlfriend went for a short and relaxing weekend break and couldn't have picked a better hotel. We arrived at midnight on Friday and despite reception being closed our key card was placed for us as the entrance gate with very clear instructions of how to get to our room. Our room (Gironde view) on level 2 was very spacious, very clean, and had a modernised feel despite keeping in line with the original chateau feel. Unlike many other travellers, we came to Bordeaux to relax and as such spend most of our time in the chateau gardens and swimming pool. The staff and Stephane (the owner) provided very attentive service, gave us excellent dinner and market recommendations, and made sure we had an amazing stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel for any couple who seeks relaxation and privacy and appreciates waking up to the sound of the birds. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and are already very much looking forward.
