Chateau Grattequina

Great stay in a lovely hotel and lovely staff! Highly recomend it and will stay again when we are in the area.

Only stayed one night but the chateau is beautiful and the young woman at the reception was friendly and helpful. Would like to stay longer in the future.

lovely place that could be truly 5 star but needs better management. Very quiet vibe and not many guests occupying rooms. perhaps since in outskirts of Bordeaux.

Fabulous property set in its own grounds overlooking the river. Magnificent house which has been sympathically adapted in to a luxury hotel. An oasis away from the noise and hustle of Bordeaux. The only negative is the industrial area nearby!!

Felt like home, very spacious rooms, very quiet stayed there 6 days.

Fabulous hotel!

The location, the grounds and chateau itself are absolutely gorgeous. we found it very romantic and will definitely return to take advantage of it in the future. Its a good place to take a breath, we were just moving too fast. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool or the bicycles, but did do a small wine tasting and the breakfast. Take note that the chateau is 30 minutes away from the city center, so that was a bit challenging. They offer a river boat ride into town which we thought was a definite must, but found it a bit too expensive. The staff was very nice and the room was beautiful. We look forward to going back.

For the price and size of the room. There was no sofa. Wine was expensive and short poored. Not very good aound inaulation between rooms.

There was no hot water in the morning, so we could not have a bath. The beds were very narrow. It was not clear which building to go into to register. We would not come again.

If you are looking for a secluded spot in Bordeaux with lot's of character then this is the place. Rooms are amazing!!! Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area who wants to be close to the city center and also all of the chateau's in the area.
